Tiffany was de vriendin van Charles Lee Ray en besluit op een dag om de pop Chucky met de ziel van haar liefje opnieuw leven in te blazen. Maar als ze dan hoort dat Chucky nooit van plan was om met haar te trouwen, wordt ze boos en sluit hem op. Chucky ontsnapt en gebruikt voodoo- praktijken om ook Tiffany haar ziel in een pop te krijgen. Om allebei weer terug te keren als mens moeten de twee poppen naar het graf van Chucky om de ketting die Ray bij zich droeg toen hij stierf op te graven.
